Serums do the focused work in a routine, but three bottles on the shelf can raise one question: what goes where? Here is a simple way to use vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and retinol without overthinking it.
Morning: vitamin C first
Vitamin C is an antioxidant, so it earns its place in the morning under sunscreen. Press three to four drops of Vitamin C Serum onto clean, dry skin and give it a minute to settle.
Any time: hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid holds on to water, which helps skin feel plump and comfortable. It plays well with everything. Apply Hyaluronic Serum to slightly damp skin, morning or night, then follow with moisturiser to keep that moisture in.
Night: retinol, slowly
Retinol is best kept for the evening. Start with two nights a week, use two to three drops of Retinol Night Serum on dry skin and build up as your skin gets used to it. A little dryness in the first weeks is common. If it bothers you, use it less often.
A simple order to remember
- Thinnest texture first, richest last.
- Morning: cleanse, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, moisturiser, sunscreen.
- Evening: cleanse, hyaluronic acid, retinol, moisturiser.
- New to all three? Introduce one at a time, two weeks apart.
The takeaway
You do not need every serum every day. Pick the one that matches what your skin needs most, use it consistently and wear sunscreen every morning.
